Starting today, March 15, is Severe Weather Awareness Week. This is a great time to put new batteries in your flashlights, check your NOAA weather radio, fill up some water jugs in case of power outage and discuss your family's plan of action and place of refuge in case of severe weather. Also, if you are an official severe storm spotter, it's time to brush up on your spotting savvy.
With the 2009 storm season up and going, expect more posts from the Stormheads' Meteorologists and hopefully from our affiliates.
